Four crew levels covering the LED and video department, from a senior engineer who owns the system to the hands who build and strike it, plus operators for your breakout rooms. Every show is staffed at the level it needs, and one person is accountable for all of it.
A senior engineer embedded in your production who owns the LED system and answers for it.
This is the top of the LED technical chain. Before the load in, we review the system design, configure processors and control, verify signal flow, and plan redundancy. Onsite, every technical decision runs through one person, so your production team has one number to call and a calm room on show day.
Experienced engineers who run the system through rehearsals and show, and fix problems while they're still small.
LED Engineers are the primary operators on the floor. They work within the system plan, keep the wall performing, and handle troubleshooting as it happens. They coordinate with Systems Leadership so issues get solved at the processor, not escalated to your producer.
Capable technicians who build, wire, test, and label under engineering direction.
LED Assistants back the engineers through build and configuration: wall assembly, data and power distribution, system testing, labeling, and first pass troubleshooting. They work from a clear plan, which keeps the load in organized and the wall ready on schedule.
Crew for build and strike who follow the plan, work safely, and keep the schedule.
LED Stagehands handle the physical install and removal of the system under direct supervision from our Assistants and Engineers. The work follows established documentation and safety standards, so the load in and strike stay organized and on time.
Operators who run a breakout room on their own, and leads who keep a bank of rooms consistent.
Breakout work is independent work. A Breakout Room Operator runs the whole room alone: audio, video, projection or LED, and presentation playback. They greet and prep speakers, load and test decks, manage mics and levels, and troubleshoot live with a room full of clients watching. When you have several rooms, a Breakout Lead sets the standard during the load in, verifies every room before doors, floats between them during sessions, and is the single point of contact for crew and client on anything breakout. Hybrid rooms with a remote audience get a tech who runs the room and the virtual platform together.
