Have your W-9 ready

A completed W-9 is required to complete onboarding. Download the W-9 from the IRS, complete it, and have it ready to upload.

Payment Setup

Once we receive and review your completed paperwork, you will receive an email from our internal payment system directly requesting your payment details through an encrypted, secure platform.

Insurance Requirements

All contractors must carry General Liability ($1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate) and Workers’ Compensation at statutory limits. Your COI must list The Liam Corporation, LLC — 1521 Montgomery Ave, Nashville, TN 37207 as the Certificate Holder. No contractor may begin work or receive payment without an approved COI on file.

Insurance Requirements

Subcontractor Insurance & Compliance Requirements

To maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism, The Liam Corporation, LLC requires all independent contractors to meet our compliance guidelines prior to beginning work.

Mandatory Insurance Verification

No independent contractor (1099) may step onto a job site or receive payment until a valid Certificate of Insurance (COI) has been submitted, reviewed, and approved by our onboarding team.

Minimum Policy Requirements

  • —General Liability: Minimum coverage of $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate.
  • —Workers’ Compensation: Statutory limits matching state requirements, or a valid state-approved exemption certificate if operating as a sole proprietor with no employees.

Labor Agreement

Independent Contractor Agreement — The Liam Corporation, LLC

By submitting this form, you agree to the following terms governing your engagement with The Liam Corporation, LLC (“Company”) as an independent contractor:

Professional Standards. You agree to conduct yourself professionally at all times while engaged on behalf of the Company, including during client events, pre-production, and any communications with clients, crew, and vendors.

Independent Contractor Status. You acknowledge that you are an independent contractor, not an employee of The Liam Corporation, LLC. You are responsible for your own tax obligations, including self-employment taxes, and are not entitled to employee benefits. The Company will issue a 1099-NEC for payments of $600 or more in a calendar year.

Insurance & Compliance. No independent contractor (1099) may step onto a job site or receive payment until a valid Certificate of Insurance (COI) has been submitted, reviewed, and approved by the Company’s onboarding team. You are required to maintain at minimum: General Liability coverage of $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate, and Workers’ Compensation at statutory limits matching state requirements (or a valid state-approved exemption certificate if operating as a sole proprietor with no employees).

Confidentiality. You agree to keep confidential all non-public information about the Company’s clients, projects, pricing, systems, and operations. This obligation survives the end of any engagement.

Non-Solicitation. During any engagement and for twelve (12) months following its conclusion, you agree not to solicit or accept direct work from any client introduced through The Liam Corporation without written consent.

Safety & Compliance. You agree to follow all applicable safety protocols, venue regulations, and client requirements during engagements.

At-Will Engagement. All engagements are project-based and at-will. Submission of this form does not guarantee future work or a minimum number of projects.

Governing Law. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
