Have your W-9 and Photo ID ready

A completed W-9 and a current government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, state ID, or military ID) are both required to complete onboarding. Download the W-9 from the IRS →

Payment Setup

Once we receive and review your completed paperwork, you will receive an email from our internal payment system directly requesting your payment details through an encrypted, secure platform.

Insurance Requirements

As an independent contractor, you carry and pay for your own insurance. You must maintain General Liability ($1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate) and Workers’ Compensation at statutory limits. Your Certificate of Insurance (COI) must list The Liam Company, LLC — 1521 Montgomery Ave, Nashville, TN 37207 as the Certificate Holder. It is in Contractor's best interest to have a valid COI meeting The Liam Company's requirements on file before Contractor's first day of work. Failure to provide a valid COI may result in Contractor being personally responsible for any claims, injuries, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of or related to Contractor's work.

Insurance Requirements

Your Insurance Responsibility

As an independent contractor, you are responsible for carrying and paying for your own insurance. The Liam Corporation does not provide coverage for contractors. You must have a valid Certificate of Insurance (COI) on file with us before your first day of work, otherwise you personally assume full liability for any damages or injuries that occur as a result of your actions.

What You Need

  • —General Liability: $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate.
  • —Workers’ Compensation: Statutory limits for your state, or a valid state-approved exemption certificate if you are a sole proprietor with no employees.

Labor Agreement

Independent Contractor Agreement — The Liam Company, LLC

By submitting this form, you agree to the following terms governing your engagement with The Liam Company, LLC (“Company”) as an independent contractor:

Professional Standards. You agree to conduct yourself professionally at all times while engaged on behalf of the Company, including during client events, pre-production, and any communications with clients, crew, and vendors.

Independent Contractor Status. You acknowledge that you are an independent contractor, not an employee of The Liam Company, LLC. You are responsible for your own tax obligations, including self-employment taxes, and are not entitled to employee benefits. The Company will issue a 1099-NEC for payments of $600 or more in a calendar year.

Insurance & Compliance. You are solely responsible for obtaining, maintaining, and paying for your own insurance coverage.

Confidentiality. You agree to keep confidential all non-public information about the Company’s clients, projects, pricing, systems, and operations. This obligation survives the end of any engagement.

Non-Solicitation. During any engagement and for twelve (12) months following its conclusion, you agree not to solicit or accept direct work from any client introduced through The Liam Corporation without written consent.

Safety & Compliance. You agree to follow all applicable safety protocols, venue regulations, and client requirements during engagements.

At-Will Engagement. All engagements are project-based and at-will. Submission of this form does not guarantee future work or a minimum number of projects.

Governing Law. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
